Choose NAS if your project requires HECO SRD 2.0 or California CEC compliance. Choose SAS if you need the latest UL1741:2021 Ed.3 certification for broader US utility interconnection.

: Yes. The H-series is a true hybrid inverter supporting three operating modes:

  • Grid-tied: Exports solar energy to the grid while powering loads
  • EPS (Emergency Power Supply): Switches to off-grid mode within <10ms when grid fails, keeping critical loads running without interruption
  • Self-consumption: Prioritizes solar and battery for home loads, minimizes grid import

The EPS output delivers the full rated power (12kW or 15kW) with 200% overload capacity for 10 seconds, sufficient to start motor loads and HVAC equipment during outages.

 All four models feature 3 MPPT trackers with a 2+2+2 string configuration, accepting up to:

  • Max PV input power: 18kW (H12K) / 22.5kW (H15K)
  • Max input voltage: 550Vdc
  • MPPT voltage range: 100–500Vdc (NAS) / 120–480Vdc (SAS)
  • Max input current: 26A + 26A + 26A per MPPT

Three independent MPPTs allow optimal harvest from panels on different roof orientations or with partial shading, maximizing annual yield on complex rooftop installations.

All H-series models carry a 5-year warranty. For US grid interconnection, the certification coverage is:

  • NAS: UL1741, UL1547, UL1699B (arc-fault), HECO SRD 2.0, CEC Efficiency — covering Hawaii utilities and California Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)
  • SAS: UL1741:2021 Ed.3+R (the latest edition as of October 2024), CFR 47 (FCC), IEC61683 — accepted by most US utility interconnection programs under the updated IEEE 1547-2018 requirements

Both versions include insulation detection, leakage current detection, and anti-islanding protection as standard.
